Sylveen Monaghan

 Sylveen is a chartered and state registered physiotherapist who graduated with a Bsc (HONS) Degree from Salford University in 2009. Initially working in the NHS in Liverpool and Manchester, Sylveen then moved on to working in the private sector, developing her interests within the field of musculoskeletal disorders.

 

Sylveen’s other scope of training lies within, massage, sports massage, craniosacral therapy, personal training, rehabilitation, ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia.

 

Through living with and caring for a close friend with ME/CFS for over 12 years, Sylveen grew a passion and an interest within the field of ME/CFS.

Sylveen undertook further training in 2023 and became one of the first practitioners in the world to qualify as an Advanced Perrin Practitioner and is The Perrin Technique™ licensed practitioner for West and South Yorkshire, working in the Cleckheaton and Barnsley area. Sylveen has worked alongside Dr Perrin now for over 11 years.

 

Sylveen has always had a keen interest in the human body, general health and the sporting field. Sylveen had a former career as an athlete representing Great Britain at junior level as a javelin thrower. Sylveen understands the demands of competitive sport and the frustration of injury, she realises how vital and integral a physiotherapists role is in maintaining a well-tuned athlete. 

 

Due to an extensive background in social care and the sporting arena, Sylveen has consolidated her skill and knowledge set. This has enabled her to develop a system of thinking that embeds a multifaceted approach in teaching patients the true value of ‘life balance’ and eradicate the ‘one size fits all’ paradigm, through encouraging patients to make better health choices. 

 

Sylveen is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is state registered with the Health Care Professions Council.

Sharon Casey

Sharon is a Dru Yoga Teacher, AYM yoga massage therapist, follows a holistic lifestyle, and is a gifted empath.

 

Being diagnosed with M.E. back in 2013 after a severe car accident a few years previously. Sharon couldn’t function as she had in the past. After many medical appointments, Sharon decided she wasnt allowing the doctors to give her prescription drugs so she began searching a holistic approach to her illness.

 

Sharon began her Perrin technique treatment in 2013, and with the help of this groundbreaking treatment alongside gentle yoga, breath techniques, mindfulness, relaxation and nutrition she has been able to transform her health, so much so, she was able to embarked on the perrin training, and is now helping others living with the condition.

Sharon is passionate about her work and has a wealth of knowledge to share with those living with fatigue.
